Solving problems

I'm a leader who is deeply connected to my faith and as a result I put people at the center of all I do. I have a history of building teams that are engaged in their work and with each other. My teams depend on me to forecast the future landscape and equip them with the skills to be successful. I'm fueled by a passion to innovate and curious about much. I have a firm belief that there is always a solution to a challenge and will figure out a way. Design thinking is woven into the fiber of my being. It's that mindset that allows me to see through clutter and provide simple, unique solutions. The beauty of creative is that it can be harnessed to overcome complex challenges. That's what I strive to do every day.

About

I've been married to my beautiful wife and best friend, Tracie, since 2005. We have the privilege of raising 5 children and count that as our greatest responsibility and blessing. We are advocates for foster care and former foster parents (there is a huge need if you have any interest at all). We also have a couple of cats that are spoiled rotten by the kids. I've enjoyed the creative world since I was a young child and was inspired by many great instructors along the way. I get excited about mentoring others and still like to have my fingers in creating as well.

  • Enjoy boogie boarding (I'm the crazy Iowa guy that gets in the freezing cold water)
